Brakes
A high-performance vehicle is not measured by horsepower alone. In drag racing, "as quickly as you can get there" is typically followed by the need to slow down. Being able to quickly and safely control your car's drift entry angle and speed are also critical if you plan on keeping off of the walls. That's why Peak Performance has been working with some of the braking industry's leading experts on designing and manufacturing critical braking components specifically for the import performance industry. We have produced brake parts which far exceed the performance of OEM parts and are comparable to some of the world's best known names in the industry.. but we've done it at a price that will allow you to "stop on a dime and still make change".. literally.

Cam Sprockets
Peak Performance Racing Cam Sprockets were designed to precisely adjust cam timing efficiently and quickly. Adjustable cam sprockets are ideal when adjusting cam timing for optimum RPM range and peak power. Peak Performance sprockets are made from forged billet T6061 aluminum then machined on a CNC machine to produce sprockets that are unmatched in precision and craftsmanship. In addition, our cam timing marks are a veneer style which allows engine tuners the accuracy needed for maximum horsepower gains. The timing marks are machined so that the markings will last the lifetime of the gear
Connecting Rods
Peak Performance's team of dedicated and experienced racers have put their heads together to design and manufacture a rod that can, in the immortal words of our fearless leader, "handle huge amounts of power". We began by using a two-piece forging for high strength and longevity. A doweled cap was necessary to ensure precision alignment for high RPM applications. We further strengthened the cap by adding ribs. This also has the benefit of increasing the rod's stability at redline. Since we didn't want anything but the best for our connecting rods, we chose ARP as our only supplier for the 3/8" high-tensile cap screws. Once the forgings are complete, our connecting rods are then test assembled, sized, and balanced to within +/- 1 gram so our customers are always guaranteed a set of matched rods. The end result is one that we are quite happy with and we're sure you will be too. Peak Performance connecting rods are the perfect match for your street or strip forced induction applications.
Forged Crankshafts
Peak Performance forged crankshafts are designed to be superior in quality and craftsmanship. All of our forged designs are made from a single-plain forging making them much lighter for a more responsive engine with quick RPMs. All Peak Performance cranks are machined, heat-treated and finished to exact tolerances by Peak Performance craftsmen in the U.S.A., setting an unprecedented level of quality and reliability.
Intake Manifold
One of the first steps in increasing your engine's power output is to increase the amount of air the engine is able to take in. Many racers and enthusiasts limit their intake modifications to a simple bolt-on high-flow air filter. However, this does not address the complete intake tract from air filter to cylinder head. What's the missing piece? The Peak Performance Intake Manifold was specifically engineered to complete the "high-flow" intake system with minimal hassle and investment. The Peak Performance Intake Manifold retains all factory sensors, fitment, and bolt pattern. It even accomodates the factory throttle body. Our intake manifold has shown significant gains in power in the mid through high RPM range. Furthermore, there is no loss of horsepower or torque in the low RPM ranges. Manufactured through a high quality casting process like the OEMs, the Peak Performance Intake Manifold maintains a stock-looking appearance so as not to scare your opponents.
Pistons Rings
Peak Performance is the very first company to introduce piston rings specifically designed and manufactured for the import automotive market. In the past, racers and automobile enthusiasts were limited in their choice of piston rings. Typically, a piston set is purchased with the "standard" rings. These standard rings typically use a chrome surface treatment. Although chrome performs relatively well. The main benefit of chrome treated rings lies in its extremely low cost. Peak Performance's team of engineers and racers set out to find a compromise between inhibitively expensive and extremely low cost. Our quest has led us to the next evolutionary step in piston ring technology: gas nitride. Gas nitrided piston rings have the benefit of being fairly inexpensive for the amount of protection they provide. Gas nitride excels in areas where a chrome surface piston ring falls short, in particular, in the areas of anti-wear and anti-corrosion properties. Our automotive industry sources have even begun hinting that in the future, OEMs will be using gas nitrided piston rings due to their much greater cost-to-benefit ratio. Don't settle for the standard rings when you can choose Peak Performance Gas Nitride Piston Rings.
Titanium Retainers
Peak Performance Titanium Retainers are CNC machined to insure quality and batch-to-batch consistency. When designing the Peak Performance retainers, we took into consideration that many of the retainers in the performance marketplace have failed due to poor design. Peak Performance Titanium Retainers are engineered for ultra-high strength in a lightweight design and are specifically designed for use with Peak Performance, Eibach or factory valve springs.
Valve Springs
An often overlooked item by many of today's engine builders is the valvetrain, the valve spring in particular. Most high-performance engines today spend most of their time in the upper RPM ranges where the valve springs are placed under tremendous stress. One poor quality valve spring can prove to be devestating in a custom built engine. Why take the risk? Peak Performance has gone to great lengths to find the best valve spring created for the harshest of conditions. Our research has led us to the design and manufacturing of the most technologically advanced valve springs available. These valve springs were created for the sole purpose of endurance in the most demanding of high-RPM race engines. To ensure that our valve springs are up to the task, we employ Dynamic Fatigue Testing. DFS is a technique that utilizes some of the most advanced state-of-the-art machinery designed by the one and only name in spring technology, Eibach. We test our springs to the most exhausting limits in order to determine their fatigue point. This has allowed us to claim a life-expectancy of over 100 million cycles with some of out valve springs. Additionally, these springs utilize the same technology and manufacturing techniques used to create the valve springs in use by the Indy Racing League (IRL) and Winston Cup. No other valve spring manufacturer can even compare in technology and the material used in the creation of these springs. The material used for these valve springs is so scarce that only certain parts of the world are even able to source the metal. Peak Performance highly recommends the use of our valve springs in pure race engines and in any application where sustained valvetrain performance is vital.
